Interatlas for iPad and iPhone not only takes the atlas into 3D but also adds a rich interactive dimension: When you launch Interatlas you are presented with a clean and beautiful 3D globe centred on where you are in the world - with no borders showing. Swipe to move around, pinch and zoom in. You can then tap to reveal borders and cities. Tap again to hide - see only what you would like to - with no pre-written information to clutter your view. This is not only a more beautiful way to see our world, it is also much more conducive to learning. Look at a region and think of what it could be, then tap on it to see if you are correct. Interatlas for iPad also features a unique 'constellation' graph where you can compare stats of any country, state, city or ocean - visually. You can purchase an In-App upgrade to add country search and YouTube, Flicker, Twitter, Lonely Planet and outside links in Wikipedia. - If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After Interatlas is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
